UNSOLVED MYSTERIES on SPOTIFY Podcast. It has been announced that they will return with new episodes in November 2022....
(Thanks. This has been a great season full of Murder and Mystery).
This Week's Podcast - "In the summer of 1996, the tightknit community of Cumberland, Rhode Island, is shocked when beloved police Detective Corporal James 'Jimmy' Grimes is found murdered in a downtown Providence parking lot."
"Surveillance video shows an unidentified man exit Jimmy’s car and soon after Jimmy was found dead, his neck broken, military-style. Who killed Jimmy Grimes?"
1990 - Press Conference withMilli Vanilli. The Pop Group Duo announced to the world that they didn't sing one note on their 7 million plus selling album, "Girl You Know It's True." It spawned 5 top 10 hits including 3 number 1 songs. The duo won 3 American Music Awards and the Grammy Award for "Best New Artist" (1989).
"Milli Vanilli" returned the Grammy Award. The Academy didn't give it to either of the other 4 nominees - in that category.
Fab Morvan and Rob Pilatus (Milli Vanilli) lost everything in 24 hours since that press conference. They would become infamous as the "Lyp-Sinc" Duo. Rob died in 1998 from an accidental drug over-dose. Fab continued a solo career since 1990.
Singer, John Davis died from COVID-19 in 2021. It's his voice and not Milli Vanilli, on the hit song, "Girl You Know It's True" (1988).
A new motion picture is now shooting called, "Girl You Know It's True." It is based on Milli Vanilli's rise and eventual fall in the music industry.
Below are the actors in this film.

INTERNAL AFFAIRS from DATELINE (NBC). The podcast drops the 2nd episode called "Busted." The running time stretches to 40 minutes. The murder of a cop's wife searches for a suspect at Greeley, Utah... Note - this is a real life soap-opera inside a police department.
INTERNAL AFFAIRS from DATELINE (NBC). The first podcast episode is called "The Grim Reaper." A wife and mother was gunned down and killed inside the parking lot where she had worked. An unknown person dressed in a dark costume fled the scene in a truck...
The police department in Greeley, Utah becomes the center of this murder. The law enforcement employees and their secret lives are uncovered. It is a real life soap-opera.... (Sheesh.! Soap-opera is an understatement).
The SERIAL Podcast 2014. Season One was hosted and narrated by journalist Sarah Koenig. It focused on the 1999 murder of Hae Min Lee. She was found strangled to death and lying inside a shallow grave at the well-known "Leakin Park" (Baltimore, Maryland). Her ex-boyfriend Adnan Syed was charged with her murder. He was convicted and sentenced to "life" in prison. He always maintained his innocence....
Monday Sept. 19, 2022. Adnan's murder conviction has been vacated by a Maryland Judge. He was set free from prison and has to wait 30 days to see if prosecutors will re-charge him with murder.
The SERIAL Podcast aired from October through December in 2014 over 12 episodes. It became a huge phenomenon hitting 80-Million online downloads by February 2015.
Its' popularity produced an HBO documentary, a novel and countless news stories. Rumors of a possible movie production never materialized.
I listened to the 12 episodes three times. It had everything a murder mystery can have involving intrigue, lies, suppressed witnesses and a possible suspect other than Adnan. SERIAL covered it all including his ineffective defense counsel, the old 1999 cell phone evidence and those missing hours of police officer interviews. Most important is the man who claimed to be Adnan's accomplice. His story has changed numerous times since 1999.
The question is, "Who killed Hae Min Lee"?

48 HOURS on CBS. I can't believe I missed this episode... Susan Spencer no longer reports for this crime show and we miss her. She narrates this segment that's 10 years old now.
"Dateline" also covered this with Dennis Murphy and the running time is 1-Hour and 27-Minutes. A lot of detail... The episode no longer exists online. NBC recently uploaded this segment to their Podcast called, "The Mystery in Effington County." Check it out.
First, "Missing in America" was fantastic over the Summer. Now, a new Podcast from "Dateline" and it sounds totally intriguing. Thanks.!!

UNSOLVED MYSTERIES - "When 26-year-old Desiree Gibbon’s brutalized remains are found in the bushes four miles from Montego Bay, Jamaica, her mother is convinced the killer was someone she knew and trusted..."
"But in a small, poor country where the sheer number of homicides overwhelms law enforcement, the Jamaican investigation has turned up few clues. Who killed the young model and what was their motive?"
UNSOLVED MYSTERIES - When police discover 18-year-old Brittany Phillips brutally murdered in
her apartment on September 30, 2004, they hope DNA samples collected
from the scene will lead them to the man who sexually assaulted and
strangled the Tulsa Community College student. Nearly 18 years and
hundreds of suspects later, Brittany’s mother has taken to the road in
search of the killer."

AMERICA'S GOT TALENT on NBC. The 2022 Finals are coming soon this September... I used to watch and vote each season, but stopped before COVID-19. I decided to catch up on YouTube with most of the talent acts.
This is a family show which airs in Prime-Time during the Summer on Tuesdays & Wednesdays. It runs from May until the Finals in September.
There are many Talent Acts including "Horror Magicians" who add magic into their scary presentations. They never make it to the finals because they run out of original ideas that bring the "screams." Or they open up the Act onstage which loses the fear factor. They also go away from the "up close and personal" magic that scared even the judges.
Below are 3 of my favorite "Horror Magicians" who scored big with their auditions. All of them were cut before the semi-finals.
THE SACRED RIANA - She was creepy and her magic horror story was un-explainable. She performed intimately at the judges table. Riana later opened up her Act on-stage and it didn't execute the "scares."
KLEK ENTOS - He wears a mask and doesn't talk. His voice comes through the auditorium speakers. He worked his magic intimately at the judges table... How did he make a deadly spider appear and disappear? It's un-explainable. Klek later went on-stage and tried to open up the scares. It didn't work.
NICHOLAS WALLACE - He speaks to the paranormal and brings a rocking-chair plus a doll. Both objects survived a hotel fire. His fingers touched the doll and it also touched a judge sitting in that rocking-chair. Even the skeptics found answers of the un-explained. Unfortunately, Nicholas couldn't bring the scares from his audition.
