Ken Howard (16,233 votes) handily beat Patricia Richardson (13,976 votes) for National President. Howard is "Unite for Strength" & Richardson is "Membership First." Two divided group factions within SAG-AFTRA. There were only 30,263 votes total out of 139,313 eligible union members. That's only 20% who actually voted.
Jenny O'Hara (14,143 votes) was beaten by stunt-woman Jane Austin (15,772 votes) for secretary-treasurer. O'Hara is "Unite for Strength" & Austin is "Membership First." It is apparently an upset win for Austin who is Richardson's running mate.
Do you see what you can do when you vote? "Change." But, there is still internal feuding & only 20% voted. Only 20% means most union members don't care & don't want to vote.
