LONGMIRE episode called HIGH NOON. It was a gun duel between Walt Longmire & Barlow Connally that marked the end of Walt's search for the man who ordered the murder of his wife Martha. Barlow confessed to it & also to killing his own son Branch because he stumbled onto Barlow & Jacob's scheme's & deceit. Wow -- It has been 4 long TV seasons & Walt's journey for the truth has ended. Remember in the first episode, when he cried because he lost Martha?
HIGH NOON was an incredible episode because it came down to good & evil. Barlow knew that Walt would eventually find out about everything. He was jealous of Walt too because Branch was a good deputy under Walt. Barlow's greed overcame him because of the Indian casino being built by Jacob Nighthorse. That greed cost him his son. Walt was right. Barlow is going to Hell.
HIGH NOON is my favorite episode of all 4 TV seasons. It has great writing & it stays close to the mystery books written by Craig Johnson. Click on the photo for the HIGH NOON recap over at Examiner News.
