I'm binge watching the British crime TV show A TOUCH OF FROST over at HULU. It ran for 15 TV seasons, but each episode clocks in at 1 hour, 45 minutes. It has an interesting premise. Detective Jack Frost has a new partner in each episode because he is old school who is quirky & strange. He's smart though & works hard on instinct which pays off.
I'm up to the end of season 5 & one of Jack's first partner's - returns in NO OTHER LOVE - only to get shot protecting Jack. I like the new partners which always keeps Jack on his toes. My favorite episodes are WIDOWS & ORPHANS (Season 2, episode 2) where Jack discovers his new partner might be a killer. FUN TIMES FOR SWINGERS (Season 4, Episode 4) where Jack investigates the death of a male escort. It is the funniest episode because the older men discuss sex as power among young virile men.
