Playboy Magazine was "Entertainment for Men" since its' creation back in the 1950's. It displayed female nudity with in depth interviews of politicians, sport athletes & "A" list celebrities. Marilyn Monroe was the first blonde movie star to appear on the pages of the magazine that attracted millions of Americans. Hugh Hefner was its' founding publisher & now he owns just 30% of the magazine in 2015.
Playboy executives announced that the magazine will no longer publish nude layouts of beautiful women by the Spring of 2016. It will continue to provide writing content & interviews. Internet pornography has knocked Playboy magazine circulation from 5 million back in 1975 to a paltry 800,000 in 2015.
