CBS "48 Hours" had eye opening episode "The Sober Truth"

48 HOURS. Even though the repeat episode of THE SOBER TRUTH is on YouTube. I watched it on 48 HOURS last night & I must say. Eric stalked his female prey in Alcoholics Anonymous meetings. He found a vulnerable Karla who had her own alcohol & drug problems. No one knew Eric had been in and out of AA for 20 years who was violent toward women. Karla ended up beaten & smothered to death. Her family filed a lawsuit against AA for letting this predator stalk Karla. That suit is still pending because AA claims they cannot control who-meets-who in organized group meetings. (Eric just killed me - by showing up at his murder trial in a wheelchair claiming Multiple Sclerosis). All AA has to do is change their rules, but they claim their 13 step program has helped millions over the years.
