"Spotlight" investigative journalism uncovers sexual abuse by Catholic priest's

In 2001, a news team called, "Spotlight" inside the Boston Globe began investigating sexual abuse of kids by Catholic priest's. They uncovered the ugly abuse going back to 1983 where the top Catholic hierarchy knew & rotated priest's to other Church's. The Catholic archdiocese hired lawyers & covered up the abuse which put fear into even the church-goers. If the Boston Globe even thought of writing a story. They were bullied by the Catholic system in the city of Boston.

In 2002, "Spotlight" broke the story & wrote 600 more articles that year on the church scandal. The top clergy resigned, 265 priest's were exposed & 1,000 victim survivors told their stories. This movie is based on a true story & it follows these determined journalist's & editor's. It is all about great investigative journalism & it's powerful. Those poor kids & unbelievably the adult's who covered it up for 30 years. This is one of the best films of 2015. If not the best.
