"Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny" will open in select IMAX theaters on Feb. 26, 2016. It will also launch on "Netflix" that same day. It will only be released in China this weekend to the frustrations of fans in all of Asia. There was a Western film made & an Eastern film made. (English & Mandarin languages). It is the sequel to the Oscar winning first film directed by Ang Lee (2000). Michelle Yeoh is the only cast member returning for this sequel - 20 years later.
