DOWNTON ABBEY on PBS. (S6EO6). Well, The TV audience knows that Thomas Barrow is only helping Andy learn how to read. But, Mr. Carson believes that Thomas wants to influence Andy to be Gay. Infact, it was Miss Patmore who assumes Thomas is going after Andy sexually. Thomas has always been emotional & he cries at the end of a harsh discussion with Carson who uses his authority to punish. He is even arrogant toward his own wife Mrs. Hughes because she cannot cook. She has Patmore make dinner for Carson.
Lord Robert is laid up in bed after his ulcer burst. The family hold's a house viewing to raise money. They make a lot too. The Lady Dowager finds out that she will be replaced on the hospital board. She discovers that her daughter-in-law, Lady Cora has been nominated for the Dowager's position. The Dowager wants the hospital to stay as it is with no moving forward with new technologies & medicine. She really is old school & has finally lost her battle.
