Oregon: 16 militia have been indicted as sealed documents are opened

News from my home state of Oregon. The number has climbed to 16 Militia members who have been indicted on federal charges. This includes the 4 remaining holdouts inside the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge near Burns, Oregon. The sealed court documents were opened on Thursday Feb. 4, 2016. These charges bring a sentence of 6 years in prison.

Ammon Bundy & his cohorts planned the takeover of the Refuge back on Oct. 5, 2015. They threatened the Refuge employees with firearms plus intimidation to over-take federal land. They're all being charged with "conspiracy to impede federal officers through intimidation, threats or force." The FBI waited them out as the Militia went on social media where it will be used against them in court.

All of the Militia members have a history of crime in their own home states. That is probably why they went to Oregon as an opportunity to voice their rhetoric against the federal government. The FBI & Oregon state troopers were waiting for them to leave the Refuge when the Militia traveled to John Day for a meeting. That's when they were arrested & one was killed.
