NEWS FROM MY HOME STATE OF OREGON: Cliven Bundy & 4 of his sons now sit in federal prison. Cliven himself was extradited back to Nevada to face 16 federal charges during the 2014 standoff at Nevada. A judge ordered him to seek out a defense lawyer because he has enough money to afford one. This was Friday March 4, 2016.
Meanwhile, 14 leaders of the militia during the 2014 Nevada standoff have been arrested & each face 16 federal charges. 2 of them are sitting in an Oregon prison for their part in the take over of the Mahleur National Wildlife Refuge. Each federal charge brings a maximum of 6 years in prison if found guilty.
Ammon Bundy says prison is the hardest thing he has ever experienced & doesn't regret what he did. A judge ordered David Fry to remain in prison until his trial. He is too much a danger to the public. He was the last remaining hold out at the refuge. He has pleaded Not Guilty to his federal charge & so has the 24 other militia who took over the Refuge in Oregon.
