RUSH HOUR on CBS. The new episode is called, "Assault on Precinct 7" which airs Thursday at 10/9 p.m. Lee's sister returns who turned against the cops & began running with an Asian gang. This episode looks to brings us some good fight sequences.
I think I figured out what's missing in this TV remake of the popular films. In the movies, detective Carter (Chris Tucker) is funny in every scene because he is a comedian who has fun dialogue. Every scene has him acting crazy. Add that to Lee (Jackie Chan) who is a Chinese fish-out-of-water character & you have two opposites who provide situation comedy. The TV show has James Carter (Justin Hires) who is funny, but not in every single scene. He is an actor & not a stand-up comedian like Tucker who has his own "Shtict."
The TV show has its' moments, but I think it has to find its' own audience compared to the movies. (Just my opinion because I'm big fan of the movies).
