"CBS This Morning" previews "A Mother Accused" on "48 Hours"

48 HOURS on CBS. The new episode will air Saturday April 9, 2016 at 10/9 p.m. It is called "A Mother Accused."

Police investigators found feeding bags of salt in the home of a mother whose child died from high levels of Sea Salt. That child had been admitted to multiple, multiple hospitals in the five years the kid had been alive. Prosecutors say the child was poisoned to death slowly to seek attention. The mother says the last hospital is at fault. 

A bottle of table salt taken all at once can kill a child. It causes swelling in the brain.
