MR. SELFRIDGE on PBS. (S04E03). Mr. Grove had a fall & went to the doctor. The reason his leg buckled is due to a brain tumor. The cancer has already spread to his lungs. He has not long to live. He returns to work, but doesn't want pity from anyone. He has not told Harry yet & is scared for his kids after he dies. He is now forced to use a walking cane.
Harry added four more retail stores to his chain in France. His son Gordon who is supposed work the out-of-London stores, stays home. He doesn't like Harry working with Dillon who has a shady past. He influenced Harry to plunge into the stock market. Dillon is also ethnic who faces racism from rich white playboys. He is known for going into rages because of it. Madame Mae doesn't like his violence.
Miss Mardle comes back from New York to see Mr. Grove. He shuts her out like he does everyone else. Mardle is more than a friend because she & Grove were once lovers. They still have chemistry & she wants Grove to get a second opinion. It is really good to see her back.
