"Mr. Selfridge" Harry branches out with a new store as Mr. Grove succumbs to cancer

MR. SELFRIDGE on PBS. (S04E07). Tilly was the only black seamstress who worked at Selfridge's and she was very good. Her white supervisor treated her with some bigotry, who found some scandal in Tilly's past. Mr. Grove terminated her. He hasn't told Harry that he will retire soon because of his cancer. It is unexpected, but Grove dies suddenly.

A young reporter is investigating the death of Victor. He mistakenly talks to Dillon who was the person who pushed Victor to his death. Madame Mae is within earshot of this heated exchange as Dillon gets angry. She knows his violent temper as Dillon's mother calms him down. Dillon teamed up with Harry on taking over the "Whitley's" store. They bought it for $300,000.

Meanwhile, Mr Crab took the liberty of looking at the accounts of "Whitley's" & it isn't good. Their suppliers claim "Whitley's" owes too much & will not extend credit even for Harry Selfridge. He cannot find anymore money in his own stores to cove the debt of "Whitley's."
