"Mr. Selfridge" Season 4, Episode 8

MR. SELFRIDGE on PBS. (S04E08). Life continues after Mr. Grove passed away from cancer. Harry & Madame Mae slept together because he didn't want to be alone. She believes it was a mistake, but he says that it meant a lot to him. She later goes to the editor of the newspaper where a reporter is digging into Victor's death. Dillon told Mae he had nothing to do with Victor's death even though he pushed him over a balcony. She threatens the editor with slander if the reporter continues to investigate.

Dillon has only three days to add supplies because "Whitely's" had gone into debt. Dillon cannot control his anger. The stress over money & his guilt over killing Victor consumes him. He  goes to Mr. Crab & bullies him into re-supplying the store in three days instead of five.

Mr. Crab goes to Miss Mardle & asks her to return to work at Selfridge's. She doesn't want to because of the children left behind by their father Mr. Grove. Rosalie confronts Harry about Madame Mae. She doesn't want Harry to hurt her after their one-night-stand. He agrees to give Mae some breathing room.
