MR. SELFRIDGE on PBS. (S04E9). The Season Finale. Jimmy Dillon finally confessed to Harry that he pushed Victor to his death. He later jumped off a bridge committing suicide. The press jumped on Harry's money problems. He went into hiding as gossip filtered into the Selfridge store.
Selfridge's & Whitely's have now gone into a trade embargo. No one will support Selfridge's financially who cannot in turn support Whitely's. Jimmy's stock in Whitely's goes to Harry & Gordon. They cannot sell Whitely's at the moment & need to break the embargo within the week.
Madame Mae has been targeted in the press. Jimmy killed Victor over her. She is angry at Harry for not supporting her. She decides to sell her own Selfridge stock & return to Paris. Miss Mardle who is now Mrs. Grove has come back to work. Harry offers her, her late husband's job & she accepts.
It is now the 20th anniversary of Selfridge's and Harry tries to get back on the ground. The embargo is still left in place. Can Harry get out from under his problems?
