"O.J.: Made in America" Part Three and Four were riveting episodes

OJ: MADE IN AMERICA on ESPN. I watched Part Three & Part Four back-to-back. I even watched Part Four three times. The first thing the LAPD did wrong was release O.J., from custody after being questioned as a suspect in the double murder of Nicole Brown Simpson & Ron Goldman. If it were any other black man. They would've locked him up. O.J., told his LAPD friend Ron Shipp that he had dreams of killing Nicole. Shipp testified for the prosecution & O.J., turned on him to win a "not guilty" verdict. He threw his friend under the bus through his defense lawyers.

O.J., wanted to win at any cost. He signed memorabilia in prison which sold more than $3 million dollars. All to pay for his "dream team" lawyers. He ran the defense & watched Johnnie Cochran like a hawk. The defense then went after Mark Fuhrman & turned it into a "race" trail. Prosecuting lawyer, Marcia Clarke, knew she lost when Mark was branded a liar & a racist. She talked to the jury & they wouldn't listen to her.

What floored me was when a juror said 90% of the jury members wanted payback for the Rodney King beating. That's why they acquitted O.J. Even when DNA evidence put his blood with Nicole & Ron at the crime scene. They even showed how Ron & Nicole were butchered to death. It was horrific & devastating to look at. It was also a trial about the "blacks" against the "white" justice system. O.J., was only a vessel to funnel the rage from the black community.

I saw two O.J. Simpson's during that trial. The first was the man he "created" for the TV camera. The second was a lost black man who kept grasping for that public image because that's all he ever knew. The trial was his "shining" moment because it was televised live for months & he was the TV star.
