"The Man From Nowhere" to be remade for New Line Cinema in U.S.

Demension films acquired the rights to remake the Korean action thriller "The Man from Nowhere" (2010). They did nothing with it and the rights went back to the original owners, CJ Entertainment. Now, New Line Cinema has acquired the remake rights of the 2010 Korean blockbuster. No screenwriter has been assigned yet.

I'm still waiting for the Hollywood remake of Korea's "Secret" (2009). A screenwriter has been attached, but nothing so far. This film is awesome...!

"Nowhere" is about a pawn shop owner's little friend who is kidnapped by drug dealers and sold into organ trafficking. The shop owner will do anything to get his friend back. It was a Korean Box Office Smash and spawned many look-a-likes.
