'Dateline' we may never know who killed 'JonBenet Ramsey'

"Dateline" (NBC) can be seen each Friday evening at 10/9 p.m. It aired in Albuquerque, NM at 9 p.m. (central time) on KOB 4. Last night's episode on Sept. 9, 2016 was called, "Who killed JonBenet?" In the overnight TV ratings it garnered 6.5 million TV viewers overall. It reached 1.3 million TV viewers in the all important 18 to 49 adult demographic. "10th annual ACM honors" (CBS) grabbed 3.72 overall & 0.6 with adults (repeat). “20/20" (ABC) nabbed 3.60 overall & 0.6 with adults.

“Dateline” is an investigative program focusing on crime & murder in the United States. The reporter and narrator of this episode is Josh Mankiewicz.

Who killed JonBenet?” She was a 6-year-old child beauty contestant and JonBenet Ramsey was murdered in December of 1996. John and Patsy Ramsey were suspected of their daughter's murder. They were later cleared. Male DNA evidence was found on JonBenet's clothing and he is still not identified. The crime scene was contaminated. Patsy called 911 emergency who said she found a “letter of ransom.” JonBenet was also missing. John Ramsey later found JonBenet dead in the basement. She was wrapped in a blanket and her mouth was covered in duct tape.

38 registered sex offenders lived in Boulder, Colorado. There was also 100 home robberies in the Ramsey neighborhood at that time. There was no evidence showing that an intruder entered the home. The male DNA was found years later. How did he get into the basement? Did he write that ransom letter?
