The local New Mexico elections 2017 is calling out to potential candidates. SAG-AFTRA members have to sign-in at official website for petition instruction kit. It will be provided May 22, 2017. Below is a bullet list of important dates. Local union members were sent letter notifications by mail. Did you get yours? Please read everything very carefully.

• 4 Year Term. “National board member”
• 2 Year Term. “President”
• 2 Year Term. “1^st Vice President”
• 2 Year Term. “2^nd Vice President”
• 2 Year Term. “Secretary”
• 2 Year Term. “Five local board members”
• 2 Year Term. “Four convention delegates”

New Mexico Election Calendar 2017

• May 22, 2017. “Nominating Petitions Available.”
• June 21, 2017 (5 p.m.). “Deadline for submission of petitions and any other required materials.”
• June 19, 2017. “Cut-off for eligibility to vote in the local election.”
• June 19, 2017. “Ballots mailed.”
• August 18, 2017 (9 a.m.). Deadline for receipt of voted ballot.”

“Local members must be paid up and in good standing for November 2016 and/or May 2017 dues periods on or before June 19 to be eligible to vote.”
