Dear Member,

"We commend the courage and candor of all those who speak out about any aggressive or inappropriate behavior they experience or witness in the industry. In a statement Monday, SAG-AFTRA publicly supported the rights of all men and women to speak out and share their stories."

"Everyone has a fundamental right to be treated with dignity and respect at work. There is more to be done by all of us to ensure the safety of those in the industry and to ensure they work in an environment free from sexual harassment, assault and abuse."

"Our union has a ZERO TOLERANCE policy against harassment of its members and others employed under our collective bargaining agreements. If you see something wrong, or believe you are subject to unlawful discrimination or harassment, contact SAG-AFTRA by calling the 24-hour hotline at 844-Safer Set, or the SAG-AFTRA EEO & Diversity Department at (323) 549-6644."

"You can also find contact numbers and a non-emergency number on the back of your membership card and on your member mobile app."

"Use your discretion and if you can say something on the spot, do so, or report it ASAP to the union. You can always report issues anonymously."

"Check the SAG-AFTRA Know Your Rights section of the website for more information. Additionally, Women In Film has published a useful resource for female entertainment industry professionals that’s available here."

"We stand together."

Strength in Unity-- Gabrielle Carteris
