The second episode on Dec 15, 2017 was called, “Oni Kalalea Ke Ku A Ka La'au Loa.” In the overnight TV ratings it garnered 7.67 overall. It reached 0.9 in the all-important 18 to 49 adult demographic. “Dateline” (NBC) grabbed 4.68 overall & 0.9 with adults (9-11 p.m.). “20/20” (ABC) nabbed 2.32 overall & 0.5 with adults.

“Oni Kalalea Ke Ku A Ka La'au Loa.” Danno recovers from the gunshot quickly right before Christmas. He tells the story of a several men dressed as Santa Claus. They rob a brinks truck and Steve comes upon that robbery before a Christmas parade. The bad Santa’s disappear into that parade among other men dressed as Santa too. Steve comes upon one of the bad Santa’s who grabs a female hostage. The Five-0 team get the news about the brinks truck robbery.
