“Dateline” (NBC) can be seen each Friday evening at 10/9 p.m. It aired at 9 p.m. (central time) on the Albuquerque TV station KOB 4. Last night’s episode on Jan. 12, 2017 was called, “The Women & Dirty John.” In the overnight TV ratings it garnered 4.25 million TV viewers overall. It reached 0.8 million TV viewers in the all-important 18 to 49 adult demographic. “Blue Bloods” (CBS) grabbed 10.02 overall & 1.0 with adults. “20/20” (ABC) nabbed 3.26 overall & 0.7 with adults.
“Dateline” is a TV show focusing on crime and murder in the United States. Last night’s episode was reported and narrated by Keith Morrison.
“The Women & Dirty John.” Newport Beach, California. 911 Emergency was called and witnesses said that a male was stabbing a young woman. He was John Meehan and she was Terra Newell. An ambulance arrived and someone had died.
A few years before. John claimed to be a doctor and had met Debra Newell on a dating website. He was too good to be true and she fell in love with him. Terra had always questioned the men her mom had dated. She and her sister didn’t like John from the very beginning. So, they looked into his past and found out that he was a conman. Debra didn’t believe them and also never told them that she had married John.
John’s past couldn’t stay buried and he desperately tried to hold onto Debra. She was blinded by her love for him. He hated her daughters and soon followed Terra with a knife.
