'48 Hours' A young mother walks off into the darkness & death

48 HOURS (CBS) can be seen each Saturday evening at 10/9 p.m. It aired at 9 p.m. (central time) on the Albuquerque TV station KRQE 13. Last night’s episode on March. 24, 2018 was called, “The Fitbit Alibi.” In the overnight TV ratings it garnered 3.45 million TV viewers overall. It reached 0.5 million TV viewers in the all-important 18 to 49 adult demographic. “SNL Vintage” (NBC) grabbed 2.45 overall & 0.5 with adults. “20/20” (ABC) nabbed 2.30 overall & 0.4 with adults.

“48 Hours” is a news program that covers crime and murder in the United States. Saturday night’s episode was reported and narrated by Erin Moriarty. 

The Fitbit Alibi.” Green Bay, Wisconsin May 20, 2016. Nicole Vander-Heyden and boyfriend Doug Detrie just had a baby boy. They went out on the town to have a good time, but Nicole walked off by herself into the night. Her dead body was found in a farm field. She was strangled and bludgeoned to death. Doug woke up the next morning to discover that Nicole was murdered. He told police that he drove around the night before looking for Nicole after she left the bar. Doug got back home and fell asleep at 3 a.m. Police later detectives find blood in the home garage and inside Nicole’s car. What happened? Did Doug kill his girlfriend?
