'48 Hours' Father & husband gets new trial

48 HOURS (CBS) can be seen each Saturday evening at 9/8 p.m. It aired at 8 p.m. (mountain time) on the Albuquerque TV station KRQE 13. Last night’s episode on May 5, 2018 was called, “Dark side of the Mesa.” In the overnight TV ratings it garnered 3.12 million TV viewers overall. It reached 0.4 million TV viewers in the all-important 18 to 49 adult demographic. “American Idol” (ABC) grabbed 2.20 overall & 0.4 with adults (8 to 10 p.m.). “NHL Playoffs” (ABC) nabbed 2.60 overall & 0.8 with adults (8 to 10 p.m.).

“48 Hours” is a news program that covers crime and murder in the United States. Saturday night’s episode was reported and narrated by Susan Spencer. 

Dark side of the Mesa.” Grand Junction, Colorado 2001. Michael Blagg returned home from work and found the back door of his home unlocked. He also discovered blood on his bed. His wife Jennifer and their daughter Abby went missing. Jennifer’s dead body was found in a trash dump field, but Abby has never been found. Michael was charged with murder and stood trial in 2004. He was found guilty and only spent 10 years in prison. His case was over turned because a jury member had “lied” during the selection process. Michael got a new trial. Is he still guilty?
