“48 Hours: NCIS” is an extension of the regular “48 Hours.” It focuses on military stories involving murder and mystery.

“Ruthless” Jacksonville, North Carolina 2011. Within the span of 14 months. A serial rapist was terrorizing military wives who lived off the “Marine Corps, Base Camp, Lejeune.” It was believed that this rapist had attacked 12 women. The Jacksonville police couldn’t capture the unknown male attacker. So, a task-force was created inside the NCIS. The husbands of these wives were stationed in the middle-east when the attacks happened. Four women were beaten and three were sexually assaulted. NCIS built a timeline of the 14 months and began meticulously gathering evidence. One victim described what the attacker was wearing and he showed up on a security camera. Can NCIS capture him before he strikes again?
