The DATELINE (NBC) episode called, "Into the Dark" had aired Monday night (9/13/2019) at 10/9 p.m. It was reported by Keith Morrison. In the overnight TV ratings. It garnered 3.39 million TV viewers overall. It reached 0.6 million TV viewers in the all important 18 to 49 adult demographic. "20/20" (ABC) grabbed 2.53 overall & 0.4 with adults. "Blue Bloods" (CBS) 4.19 overall & 0.3 with adults.
"Into the Dark." Utah. Mackenzie Lueck had returned earlier to the Salt Lake City airport and got into a "Lift." She was dropped off in Hatch Park and then had gotten into another car. It was 3:00 a.m. That car drove off into the darkness never to be seen again....
Police later had looked at the airport security cameras. Mackenzie was alone and talked to no one. She had sent a text message to her mom and was seen walking out of the airport. The "Lift" driver said she seemed okay and not troubled at all. She was fine when she got out of that "Lift."
Mackenzie had a secret nobody knew about. She had appeared on a dating website.
