'Dateline' episode 'The Black Candle Confession' nabs 3.77 TV Ratings Overall

The DATELINE (NBC) episode called, "The Black Candle Confession" had aired Friday night (1/17/2020) at 9/8 p.m. It was reported by Keith Morrison. In the overnight TV ratings. It garnered 3.77 million TV viewers overall. It reached 0.5 million TV viewers in the all important 18 to 49 adult demographic. "20/20" (ABC) grabbed 3.20 overall & 0.5 with adults. "Magnum P.I." (CBS) 5.18 overall & 0.6 with adults.

"The Black Candle Confession." West Liberty, Iowa 1992. A young woman called 911 Emergency to report that her fiance' was dead inside of his home. Investigators found a male victim who was face down in his bedroom. There was blood spatter everywhere and he was brutally beaten to death. It was concluded that he was sleeping when he was attacked. His name was Corey Wieneke who was only 22-years-old. Even though he was engaged to be married. Corey was known to be a "ladies man." 

A news reporter found a baseball bat one mile from Corey's home. I turned out to be the weapon that killed him.
