48 HOURS (CBS) Last night's episode on Saturday (11/15/2020) was called, "Christy Martin: The fight of her life" which aired at 9/10 p.m. In the overnight TV ratings. It garnered 2.91 million TV viewers overall. I had reached 0.3 million TV viewers in the all important 18 to 49 adult demographics. "College Football" (ABC) grabbed 4.15 overall & 1.0 with adults (8-11 p.m.). "Saturday Night Live" (NBC) grabbed 2.07 overall & 0.3 with adults.
"Christy Martin: The fight of her life." Orlando, Florida 2012. Christy was a professional female boxer. She was married to Jim Martin who was also her coach. She wanted out of their marriage and began another relationship. Jim was very controlling and possessive. He attacked and stabbed her, plus pulled a gun shooting her in the chest. The bullet just missed her heart and Christy survived. Jim claims that it was Christy who attacked him and that it was self-defense.
