The 48 HOURS (CBS) episode called, "The Killing of Cowboy Ray Green" that aired on Saturday night (4/17/2021) at 10/9 p.m. In the overnight TV ratings. It garnered 2.51 million TV viewers overall. It reached 0.3 million TV viewers in the all important 18 to 49 adult demographic. "Saturday Night Live" (NBC) grabbed 1.81 overall & 0.3 with adults. "NBA Basketball" (ABC) nabbed 1.49 overall & 0.4 with adults (8:30 to 11 p.m.).
"The Killing of Cowboy Ray Green." Dani is the ex-wife of Ray Green who both still lived together. She called his family and told them that their german-shepard-dog had killed Ray. The animal gripped its' teeth by Ray's throat.
Ray's mother called the police and they brought out a search party to Dani's home. The police had to get a search warrant for a large tool box. Ray's dead body was inside of it. The dog was never found. Dani had shot Ray 10 times in the bedroom. She claimed that he tried to rape her.
