REACHER on AMAZON PRIME VIDEO. Season 1 premiered on Feb. 4, 2022. (8 Episodes). Based on the novel by Lee Child called, "Killing Floor." Jack Reacher (Alan Ritchson) is a veteran military policeman who travels across America on foot to solve mysteries.
Amazon dropped all 8 episodes on their streaming website and reached 240 countries... Within 24 hours - "Reacher" became the 5th most watched series in Amazon's history.
Three days later on Feb. 7, 2022. Amazon Prime Video renewed "Reacher" for season 2.
Season 1 - Jack Reacher travels to a small town named Margave, Louisiana. He is a stranger who is in the wrong place at the wrong time. Jack is accused of brutally killing a police officer. He also discovers that his own brother Joe had gone missing in this town. The dead bodies keep piling up and Jack uncovers many truths. It leads to a deep conspiracy involving his brother.
I absolutley loved this first season and I couldn't stop laughing... Alan Ritchson debuts as the 6'5" Jack Reacher and it is a "Star" making turn.
(Tom Cruise 5'6" played Jack in two movies based on Child's books).
