KILL distributed by AA FILMS (2024). This action movie premiered at the Toronto Film Festival (2023). It took 1st-Runner-Up with the People's "Choice" award at "Midnight Madness" screenings.
According to Box Office Mojo that tracks box office receipts. "Kill" grabbed a home country gross of $1,171,487 million. It nabbed $759,212 at the Foreign box office. It was never released in the U.S. However, it was screened for American critics to rave reviews.
Film audiences have called this, "John Wick" on a "Train." I totally disagree after purchasing a Blu-Ray copy from Lions-Gate films.
The story surrounds a young couple in love. He is an Army Commando named, "Amrit." She is the daughter of a business tycoon and her name is "Tulika." She is forced into an engagement by her dad for an arranged marriage. Her family boards a train after this engagement party. Amrit and his best friend jump on the same train.
The passengers don't know that street bandits also boarded the train and they block all Internet access to iPhones. A massive robbery takes place and Tulika is put into grave jeopardy. Armit and his friend decide to take on these thugs led by a ruthless man who enjoys killing.
The body count piles up and there are many ways to kill a person. Blood is everywhere on this train. Amrit loses a lot in this fight and survives. I have to say that his long time girlfriend Tulika is so captivating. This fight is about what this couple means to each other.
In my opinion, this is one of the best action movies since "Mission Impossible 7: Dead Reckoning." Believe me when I say that there 1,000 bad action films. Especially on YouTube. Check out "Kill" on Blu-Ray.
