DOWNTON ABBEY on PBS. (S06E05). Did you watch tonight's episode? Lord Robert's ulcer burst at the dinner table & it was kind of horrific. It was during a heated argument on the progression of the local hospital. It was a surprise especially when he spits blood all over his wife Lady Cora across the table. Amidst all the commotion of getting the Lord to a hospital. Lady Mary overhears the Dowager say something about Lady Edith's daughter Marigold. She is the last to know that Marigold is really Edith's child. She wasn't adopted.
Meanwhile, Andy cannot read & Thomas Barrow finds out. Andy is going to help Mr. Mason with the farming of pigs. Andy was given books to read on the subject, but he can't read one single word. He treated Thomas badly because he's gay & apologizes.
The Dowager has a butler named Mr. Spratt & a maid named Miss Denker. They're enemies in the home because they know each others secrets. It is getting funnier & funnier because Denker oversteps her bounds concerning the Dowager. She is terminated, but threatens Spratt that she will tell secrets if he doesn't help save her job.
