Harry Selfridge mourns the death of his mother in his own way

MR. SELFRIDGE on PBS. (S04E02). Harry loses his mother to death. It is a week after the funeral. He wakes up in bed with one of the blonde "Dolly Sisters" who are an entertainment team. Elizabeth Arden comes to Selfridge's to promote her cosmetics line. Kitty admires her because she is a progressive woman who is very independent.

Last week, Madame Mae showed up at the doorstep of Jimmy Dillon, a promoter who is much younger than her. She is after all a woman who has her own sexual appetites. She's funny that way. It is 1928 & Harry wants to buy stock market shares from Jimmy to bulk up Selfridge stores. He always looks for an opportunity to make money. None of them know yet that the 1929 U.S. Stock Market will crash. 

Harry also gambles to cope with his mother's death. He loses big against one of the "Dolly Sister's." He is aging & still reckless whose money isn't as good as it used to be when he loses.
