"Cuckoo." Vera Stanhope (Brenda Blethyn) and her homicide team are called out to a boat yard. A young male is found stabbed to death. The security cameras aren't working. They find a hole in a fence where the male got inside. He had jumped on a train and traveled here. A local police officer claims the deceased isn't from the area. He knows all of the wild teens.
The young man is named Caden who was reported missing weeks before. He was a normal angry teen male. He had gotten a job at a local community center where he used to live. He seemed like a teen who was never in trouble. The medical examiner found crack/cocaine inside Caden's body.
