'The Vanished' podcast on 'Dakota' whose death is questioned

THE VANISHED podcast on WONDERY. Dakota Lee Stump went missing at a military base in Texas. His "supposed" body remains were found near his car that had crashed. The military told the funeral director not to look at the dead body out-of-respect. That director did what he had been asked. Dakota was buried, but his family "questions" if it was him in that casket. The military had been evasive concerning Dakota's disappearance from day one. His neck bone was missing and there were stab wound "holes" in his t-shirt. His family thinks he was strangled and stabbed to death. Why?

The mother of Dakota is interviewed (below) and she has no answers on what happened to her son. Check it out and listen to an intriguing mystery that sounds like a cover up on murder.

Oscar winning movie 'Missing' 1982 reveals a murder unresolved

MISSING from POLYGRAM PICTURES. Jack Lemmon and Sissy Spacek both received Oscar nominations for acting performances and the film won for Best Adapted Screenplay. It's based on the 1978 novel "The Execution of Charles Horman: An American Sacrifice" by Thomas Hauser.

Charles is a writer who knows too much information about the United States attempted "Coup" of Chile in 1973. He disappears and his father Ed (Lemmon) travels to Chile to search for him. Charles' wife Beth (Spacek) is already in the country searching for him. He turns up murdered and that becomes a mystery unresolved.

The question is, "Did the United States Embassy and/or Consulate order the execution of Charles by the Chilean military?"

This is based on a true story and the family of Charles Horman never gets a complete answer on who killed him. His dead body is returned home in a wooden crate to the U.S. That body is too decomposed for an autopsy. The murder of Charles is classified as "secret" forever by the U.S. Government. (It makes you angry.). Check it out if can.

HBO 'Leaving Neverland' grabs paltry TV ratings on both nights

LEAVING NEVERLAND on HBO. The cable network gambled on airing the controversial 2-part film. It failed to bring in any kind of decent numbers.

Sunday night at 9/8 p.m. In the overnight TV ratings it garnered 1.2 million TV viewers overall. It reached 0.41 in the all important 18 to 49 adult demographic.

Monday Night at 8/7 p.m. It grabbed 0.927 overall & a mere 0.26 with adults. Oprah Winfrey's special interview "After Neverland" at 10/9 p.m. It nabbed only 0.780 overall & 0.23 with adults.

I watched it all and it was complete "Tabloid Trash." It was also a one-sided story on Wade Robson and Jimmy Safechuck, plus their mothers. The two men accuse Michael Jackson of sexually molesting them as kids (Michael died in 2009). The filmmakers did not interview the Jackson family or reveal any physical evidence of alleged sexual abuse.

Oprah Winfrey used this opportunity to believe what Robson and Safechuck had to say. She didn't ask the Jackson family to face these accusers. She also never asked the tough questions like she did on her talk show. Nor did she try to get to the actual truth with any kind of evidence to corroborate their stories. She expects the public to "cancel" Michael Jackson.

HBO will play both episodes in repeats the rest of the week.

2002 '48 Hours' episode 'Millionaire Boys Club' continues with "Appeal' of Justin Wolfe

2001. Justin Wolfe (19 yrs) was a marijuana dealer who in high school had amassed $100,000. Danny Petrole (21 yrs.) was Justin's rival dealer in the state of Virginia. He was shot and killed in the back of his car. Justin owed Danny a $70,000 debt. His friend Owen Barber had owed Justin $3,000 in debt. Prosecutors claim that Justin had ordered Owen to kill Danny which Justin has denied. Owen testified in court against Justin who got 38 years in prison for his cooperation. Justin was convicted and sentenced to death.

2011. A judge ordered a new trial for Justin claiming that prosecutors with-held evidence at trial. Owen was behind prison bars and recanted his testimony, saying Justin never ordered him to kill Petrole. He then recanted again when Justin's new trial began in 2012. Prosecutors added 6 more indictments against Justin who wrote a letter admitting he ordered Owen to kill Pertole. Justin was sentenced 29 to 41 years in prison. He has served 17 years already.

2019. A supreme court judge has over-ruled an "appeals" court in Virginia saying that Justin's new "appeal" can be heard in a court of law. Justin claims that he was coerced by prosecutors into writing that letter of confession.

48 HOURS on CBS. The episode was called, "Millionaire Boys Club" and it was reported by Peter Van Sant. That particular segment is not repeating, nor airing online. It played on "48 Hours-Investigation Discovery" but it is no longer. What is interesting is the amount of high grade marijuana that was bought and sold among high school kids. Justin Wolfe ran a high priced operation and he is still paying for it.

Her mother Vicki didn't believe Kadie committed suicide who had loved her baby too much. Vicki began her own investigation and the local police didn't want to see her. If Kadie was hit by a moving train. Her dead body doesn't prove that, because her head wasn't damaged and body limbs were intact. What happened on that cold night in 2008?
