Adam Sandler gets serious in new film 'Uncut Gems'
UNCUT GEMS from A24. Adam Sandler stars as a fast talking jeweler in New York City. It opened into wide release on Christmas Day (12-25-2019). It has surpassed the $1 million dollar mark at the US box office.
I watched it today and it's very good. Sandler is at his best when he takes on a serious role. And - there have only been a few in his career. I wouldn't call this an Oscar nominated performance though. It's just nice to see Sandler step out of his "Saturday Night Live" sch-tick. - Check it out.
