Comedian 'Tim Conway' dies at age 85

He was first a guest star actor in the hit comedy TV show, "The Carol Burnett Show." (1967-78). Tim Conway then became a series regular over the 9 year run on CBS. He was known for busting up his co-stars during the taping of comic sketches. The cast even had "bets" on how long Harvey Korman would last in each sketch. It was just the tip of Conway's career as an actor which began with "The Steve Allen Show" in the 1950's.

A TV fan uploaded the sketch called, "The Dentist." It shows the comic genius of Tim Conway. Check it out below.

RIP Mr. Conway.

'Love Me or Leave Me' singer & actress 'Doris Day' dies at age 97

Doris Day died from a heavy case of pneumonia. In her autobiography - Doris claimed she always wanted to be a dancer, just like her idol, Ginger Rogers. Fate had a different plan when she broke her leg in a car accident. She began singing and the rest is history because that "talent" moved her into 1940's (big band) radio and then movies throughout the 1950's-60's. She even had a popular TV show.

Her only best actress Oscar nomination was for her comedic role in "Pillow Talk" (1959). She starred alongside Rock Hudson with whom she had great chemistry. She also worked with big movie stars of that era including, James Cagney, Kirk Douglas, James Stewart, Cary Grant and Clark Gable.

My favorite films were her dramatic roles, "Love Me Or Leave Me" (1955) with Cagney and "The Man Who Knew Too Much" (1956) with Stewart (directed by Alfred Hitchcock). Both films were huge box office hits.

RIP Miss Day.
