MANHATTAN on WGN. The 1940's period drama to build an atomic bomb at Las Alamos has been cancelled after 2 seasons. It was loved by critics & a flock of hardcore fans. The TV ratings plummeted in the second season though. WGN claims it was an expensive series to produce. They decided to pull the plug. The TV drama was filmed at Santa Fe, NM where they built an exact replica set of Las Alamos.
