48 HOURS (CBS) can be seen each Saturday evening at 10/9 p.m. It aired at 9 p.m. (central time) on the Albuquerque TV station KRQE 13. The recent episode on Feb. 10, 2018 was called, “Paradise Lost.” In the overnight TV ratings it garnered 2.98 million TV viewers overall. It reached 0.4 million TV viewers in the all-important 18 to 49 adult demographic. “Winter Olympics” (NBC) grabbed 19.78 overall & 4.5 with adults (8-11 p.m). “NBA Saturday Prime-time” (ABC) nabbed 2.25 overall & 0.7 with adults (8:30-11 p.m.).
“48 Hours” is a news program that covers crime and murder in the United States. Saturday night’s episode was reported and narrated by Susan Spencer.
“Paradise Lost.” Costa Rico 2010. John and Ann Bender built a secluded home inside the rain forest in 2001. A wild life nature preserve was also created in and around the home. It seemed like a beautiful paradise until John received a gunshot to the back of his head. Both he and Ann had suffered from severe depression. She believes that he tried to committed suicide with his own gun. She also claimed that she attempted to take the gun away from him. Her hands were wrapped around his when the gun went off. Ann was later convicted in his death in 2015 and believes she was framed. Can she be right?
