'48 Hours' an update on 'Murder Comes Knocking' from 2007

48 HOURS on CBS. The episode was called, "Murder Comes Knocking" that covered the death of Jarrod Davidson in 2004. He was gunned down on his front doorstep by his father-in-law Phillip Jones. It was set up by the mother-in-law Malinda Jones. She bought a plant pot and placed it on the doorstep that had lured Jarrod outside. Phillip was convicted and received life-in-prison. Jarrod's wife Kelee was found guilty of accessory-to-murder and perjury. She received 4 years in prison in 2007, but was released 2 years early. She was ordered by a judge not to visit her daughter she had with Jarrod. Her parents were very controlling over Kelee and wanted full custody of the granddaughter. Phillip had even claimed that Jarrod molested his own daughter. Police found no evidence of molestation.

Since Kelee's release from prison. Her life had begun a downward spiral. By the year 2013. Jay and Kelee Dossey's 3 kids were taken away from them. Jay was arrested for having fire arms in their home. Kelee never regained custody of her daughter with Jarrod.
