'48 Hours' episode 'The Killing of Officer Green' hits 3.29 TV Ratings Overall

The 48 HOURS (CBS) episode called, "The Killing of Officer Green" aired Saturday night (12/7/2019) at 10/9 p.m. In the overnight TV ratings. It garnered 3.29 million TV viewers overall. It reached 0.5 million TV viewers in the all important 18 to 49 adult demographic. "College Football" (ABC) grabbed 3.73 overall and 0.9 with adults (8-11 p.m.). "Saturday Night Live" nabbed 2.27overall & 0.4 with adults (repeat).

"The Killing of Officer Green." Exeter, California in 2015. Erica was in love with Daniel. They got married and all he wanted was to have children with her. She was an extremely angry woman who got violent if she didn't get her way. She had abused him over tiny little things.

Daniel was an 11-year-veteran of his local police department. Investigators say this was an execution while Daniel sat on the bathroom toilet in his home. He was shot four times and fell to the floor onto his back. He was divorced from Erica at the time and who lived alone. She was not considered a suspect at first. There was no witness to the shooting.
