Bad CGI or AI Trailer 'Return to Jurassic' now streaming
RETURN TO JURASSIC from LIONS GATE PLAY. This is not connected to the highly successful "Jurassic Park" movie series. This looks like a complete Rip-off with terrible CGI or AI effects. But.... The film has been made and is now streaming online. I haven't checked but some say it is on the web channel "Tubi."

TV Review 'Silk' from BBC One 4-out-of-5 Stars*
SILK on BBC One (2011 to 2014) United Kingdom. I am coming to this TV series late. It ran for 3 seasons and was a TV ratings hit peaking at 6 million viewers. It averaged 5 million viewers throughout. It ran on PBS Masterpiece in the U.S.
The story is simple. We follow a barrister (lawyer) Martha Costello (Maxine Peake) who strives to become a QC (Queen's Counsel). She is a member of the law firm, "Shoe Lane Chambers." She's given court cases as a defense attorney and a few as a prosecutor.
"Silk" refers to what the female QC wears inside chambers (court-room). Silk gowns.
The law in England and the United States is quite different. All judges and lawyers wear white wigs and black robes in court. Opposing counsel cannot "Object" in court. Only a judge can do that. Plus, evidence is shared from the defense to the prosecution. Not vice versa. The defense suspect sits behind thick glass in court and sometimes above the chambers (court-room).
"Silk" has high-drama outside the court-room. The politics inside the firm is intriguing. I will not give away the sub-plots that run through the story with each season. They all involve Martha and it affects her personally plus professionally. There is also good drama inside the court-room.
I purchased a Blu-Ray copy of the series and it is worth it. Check it out.

1980's Action Movie Star 'Chuck Norris' dies at age 86
During the 1980's. Action movie stars come out every year. Arnold, Sly, Willis, Chan, Seagal and Van Damme. Then, there was the martial artist Chuck Norris. My favorite film of his is, "Lone Wolf McQuade." It was so bad it was good. His best performance was in "Code of Silence" where Norris had to actually become an actor. The police crime thriller suited him well who received rave reviews from critics.
Norris then turned his action skills onto television with, "Walker, Texas Ranger." It made him a star all over again. The popular series ran for 8 TV seasons.... RIP.

Trailer 'The Frozen Front 2: Fear the Silence' coming soon.!
Okay.... I was reading all the comments posted under this trailer. Apparently, no one saw the first movie. So, I did a Google search on the first film. It is an independent production released straight-to-digital in 2017. Right now. It is streaming on several websites. The reviews are bad all the way around. The trailer looks decent, but that's it.
Now, there is a sequel and the question is why? Well, everybody wants to make a movie and also be in one. No matter the country or the genre. These two films are both set in World War II.
The trailer for "The Frozen Front 2" is..., not that good. It will probably go straight-to-digital.

48 HOURS (CBS).. "A filmmaker tries to solve a real-life murder -- the victim, his wife's sister. 17 years later, can they find her killer? CBS News correspondent Jim Axelrod investigates."
Note: This is a murder that may never be solved. I listened to this for a third time. This woman was found dead in a river with her "uterus" missing. It was believed that she was pregnant. Her ex-husband with whom she still had a sexual relationship. He says that she wasn't pregnant. After many years - He still retains a lawyer who does not want to be questioned. They were together before they hit their teens.
I totally agree with other viewers (listeners). I don't believe the female witness and her mom. They both claim they saw the victim being dragged into the river by several men. One was her ex-husband. (I think they just wanted to be part of the drama).
What is interesting is that medical examiners believe her "uterus" was eaten by fish and turtles. Would they target a "uterus" with a newborn baby inside her stomach?
In my opinion.... Her ex-husband has a new wife. He didn't want his "ex" to ruin his future. He killed and dumped her body in that river.
It is a mystery folks.!

Best Stunt Ensemble 'Mission Impossible 8: The Final Reckoning' the 'Actor Awards' 2026
The 32nd annual "Actor Awards" (SAG-AFTRA) was presented live on "Netflix" last night (3-1-2026). As a union member I voted for my favorite acting performances. I was thrilled to see "Mission Impossible 8: The Final Reckoning" win the award for Best Stunt Ensemble in a movie. Tom Cruise did his own stunts in the film and it was fantastic.
I saw MI8 six times in an IMAX theater which is the only way to view it.
Critics and entertainment magazines claimed that MI8 was a box office bomb in 2025. I beg to differ....
The MI8 production budget climbed to a hefty $400 million. That included public relations promotion. The world-wide box office reached $598 million. The International box office nabbed $401 million which covered the budget. The North American box office grabbed $197 million. Which is Paramount's end profit. That is hardly a bomb which doesn't include Digital/Video-on-Demand plus Blu-Ray and DVD sales.
