The 'Mummy' Has A Sequel Title 'The Mummy 4: The Book of the Dead'
THE MUMMY (1999) has a new sequel titled, "The Mummy 4: The Book of the Dead." Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz will return to the next sequel that will be released Oct. 15, 2027.
The original "Mummy" nabbed $442 million at the world-wide box office (1999). Two sequels had followed. Universal announced the 4th installment in 2026. Fans are loving it including me. Fraser and Weisz have great chemistry.

Best Picture nominee? 'Godzilla Minus Zero' 2026
GODZILLA MINUS ZERO from TOHO studios (2026). This sequel opened at the New York Film Festival on Sept. 16, 2026. Critics and fans are raving about it and hoping for a Best Picture Oscar nomination.
"Godzilla Minus Zero" will be released in the U.S. on Nov. 6, 2026 in IMAX theaters.
I plan to walk into a movie theater to watch this. I'm a huge fan of "Godzilla Minus One" which won an Oscar for Best Visual Effects.
