4-hour 'Leaving Neverland' documentary will premiere on HBO spring 2019

LEAVING NEVERLAND for HBO. The 4 hour documentary had its' premiere at the Sundance Film Festival 2019. It received a standing ovation from the audience. Dan Reed is the film's director who says it is not about Michael Jackson. It is about the stories of sexual abuse by a predatory adult male (Jackson) against two boys, Wade Robson and Jimmy Safechuck.

Michael Jackson passed away in 2009. Both Wade and Jimmy claimed that Michael never sexually abused them when they were boys in the late 1980's and early 1990's. Four years after his death in 2013. They filed lawsuits against the Jackson family estate claiming they were both sexually abused by Michael. A judge dismissed the ($$) billion dollar lawsuits in 2017.

The documentary provides no physical evidence that Michael Jackson abused these two men who were boys. The filmmakers rely solely on Wade and Jimmy's repressed recollections from 20 years ago. Dan Reed says that it is their stories to tell and not Michael Jackson. The Jackson family estate calls documentary "one-sided" and "untrue."
