'Dateline' is not streaming the episode called, 'Accused'

DATELINE  on NBC. Last night's episode was called, "Accused" which aired on Friday Jan. 18, 2019. In the overnight TV ratings in garnered 3.13 million TV viewers overall. It reached 0.6 million TV viewers in the all important 18 to 49 adult demographic. The network is not streaming the episode online.

"Accused" is an investigative report by Andrea Canning on R&B singer "R. Kelly." This comes on the heels of a 6-part "Lifetime" cable TV docu-series "Surviving R. Kelly." It nabbed a massive 18 million TV viewers. I didn't watch that series.

I did watch last night's episode on "Dateline." I thought Andrea Canning asked all the right questions in this report. It bothers me that a parent had let their 13-year-old daughter stay overnight with an adult male celebrity. I guess because R. Kelly is a renowned R&B singer who has fame and fortune. It is okay which clearly, it isn't.

There is no "evidence" showing R. Kelly with all these teen girls. It may be hard to bring into a court-of-law. But -- if Bill Cosby can be charged by only the "word" of multiple women. So can R. Kelly, which hasn't happened in 2019. Him and his lawyer deny every allegation and calls them "lies."
