There was this documentary made on Robert Evans in 2002 called, "The kid stays in the picture." It was based on his autobiography of the same name. Both had chronicled his early career as an actor under contract to 20th Century Fox and then into producing films. The most interesting and fascinating part was when he took over as head of production for Paramount Pictures 1969.
The inside stories of films like "Rosemary's Baby", "Love Story" and "The Godfather" are intriguing and fun. When he left Paramount. He produced the classic "Chinatown."
Check out his documentary if you can. Very Fascinating. Below is the movie trailer.
