“Murder in Pinyon Pines.” California 2006. There was a house fire in a desolate place called, “Pinyon Pines.” A mother (Vicki Friedli) and her boyfriend (Jon Hayward) were found dead inside the home. The daughter (Becky Friedli) was placed inside a wheel barrel and burned to death outside. Police found no evidence at the crime scene. It was a home that was built miles away from the closest city. Investigators believed that Becky was targeted by a former boyfriend named Robert Pape. He had become too possessive and took their break-up badly. There was no concrete evidence placing him at the crime scene. The case went cold for years. Who was responsible for these deaths?
