The film's director dropped out on the first day of shooting. Two major male movie stars exited before production even began. There is no trailer for the western because the theatrical release date has been pushed back several times. Now, "Relativity" files for bankruptcy & releases JANE GOT A GUN from its' holding. They were the film's main distributor along with "The Weinstein Company."
There was an actual preview of the western as film-goers talk about how good the film was among Internet post threads. It stars Natalie Portman who is also one of the film's producers. The production cost a small $15 million and it is still unclear whether "The Weinstien Company" will put it into theaters for 2016. "Relativity" owes its' debtors and is releasing other productions.
More and more film productions are heading to New Mexico for the tax breaks. Western films have come to the state because of the perfect locations. (Click on the photo below for news).
